Whereas, The street was reconstructed in 1977 and is in need of rehabilitation; and

Whereas, The project is included in the Department of Public Works High Impact Resurface Program; and

Whereas, The Cities of Milwaukee and Wauwatosa share jurisdiction ownership of the roadway and will share the construction costs; and

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee will be the lead agency of the project design and construction; and

Whereas, This project is programmed for construction in 2017; and

Whereas, Funding for the construction phase of the project was included in resolution 161154 (ST214170101); now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Commissioner of Public works is hereby authorized to execute the project agreement titled “Cost Sharing Memo of Understanding Between the City of Milwaukee and the City of Wauwatosa” for the cost sharing of the rehabilitation of North 60th Street between West Vliet Street to West Center Street, copies of which are attached to Common Council Resolution File Number 161697, and are incorporated by reference as though set forth in full.
