Resolution approving the submission of Revision No. 4 of the 2015 Capital Fund Program Grant to the Department of Housing and Urban Development

Body

WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (HACM) received the 2015 Capital Fund Program (CFP) Grant from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) effective 04/13/2015 in the amount or $5,098,17; and

 

WHEREAS, as part of the Choice Neighborhood Initiative (CNI) Grant and Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) conversion of the Westlawn Public Housing Development, HACM had obtained HUD approval to use part of the 2015 CFP in financing the construction of Westlawn Gardens Scattered Sites and Victory Manor and other predevelopment cost of the CNI project.

 

WHEREAS, the HACM is submitting the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development the 2015 Capital Fund Program Grant Revision No. 4 to include changes in the following RAD Investment related categories: Building Structures, $1,210,306; Fees and Costs, $792,083 for architectural and engineering services; Demolition, $81,615 for Westlawn Demolition; and Relocation, $100,000 for Westlawn Residents relocation; and, now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee approve the submission of the 2015 Final Capital Fund Program Grant Revision No. 4 to HUD; and, be it

 

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Secretary-Executive Director is hereby authorized and directed to submit the 2015 Capital Fund Program Grant Revision No. 4 and any necessary documentation to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
