This motion amends the order of priority for the televising of meetings of government bodies by the City Channel by adding the City-County Heroin, Opioid and Cocaine Task Force.

Whereas, In an increasingly digital age, televising government meetings is an important means of informing citizens about their government; and
Whereas, Since the creation of the City Channel, this channel has been dedicated to making City of Milwaukee government as transparent as possible to the community; and
Whereas, In the interest of good management and government, the order of priority for televising meetings of government bodies should be continually re-evaluated; and
Whereas, There has been broad public interest in the activities of the City-County Heroin, Opioid and Cocaine Task Force, now, therefore,
It Is Moved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the attached order of priority for the televising of meetings of government bodies by the City Channel is approved.
