Section

Analysis
Currently, the code requires an applicant for a permit to keep chickens to obtain written consent of all owners directly or diagonally abutting the applicant’s property as a condition for approval of a permit.

A hearing will be scheduled within 14 working days of receipt of any timely written objection, and the commissioner will notify the objector and applicant of the decision within 10 days of completion of the hearing.
