Title
Substitute resolution rescinding reserved commitments and appropriating remaining funds from the 2016 Common Council Contingent Fund for the purpose of closing the 2016 financial books due to unanticipated shortfalls in current year operating expenses.
Analysis
This resolution also authorizes the transfer from the 2016 Common Council Contingent Fund of up $2,228,917.47 to various departments and account in order to close the 2016 financial books.

Whereas, To facilitate closing of year 2016 financial books, transfers from 2016 Common Contingent Fund are necessary; now therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that up to $5,399.58 from the 2016 Common Council Contingent Fund (0001-9990-C001-006300) (2016) be transferred to the Board of Zoning Appeals Operating Expenditures Account (0001-0960-R999-006300) (2016) if necessary; and, be it
Further Resolved, That up to $11,181.54 from the 2016 Common Council Contingent Fund (0001-9990-C001-006300) (2016) be transferred to the Department of City Development Operating Expenditures Account (0001-1910-R999-006300) (2016) if necessary; and, be it
Further Resolved, That up to $151,352.96 from the 2016 Common Council Contingent Fund (0001-9990-C001-006300) (2016) be transferred to the Police Department Salaries & Wages Account (0001-3310-R999-006000) (2016) if necessary; and, be it
Further Resolved, That up to $131,349.40 from the 2016 Common Council Contingent Fund (0001-9990-C001-006300) (2016) be transferred to the DPW-Infrastructure Services Division Operating Expenditures Account (0001-5230-R999-006300) (2016) if necessary; and, be it
