WHEREAS, Ms. Mattie Bridgewater has retired from her position as Project Manager after 31 years of service to the City of Milwaukee and to the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee; and

 

WHEREAS, Ms. Mattie Bridgewater has served first for the Department of City Development and then for the Housing Authority; and

 

WHEREAS, Ms. Mattie Bridgewater has served the Housing Authority as Clerk Stenographer III, Housing Construction Specialist-Senior, and Project Manager; and

 

WHEREAS, Ms. Mattie Bridgewater has served City of Milwaukee residents generally and public housing residents specifically with dedication and professionalism of the highest standards throughout her career; and

 

WHEREAS, in her roles with the Housing Authority, Ms. Mattie Bridgewater has helped numerous public housing residents with housing and supportive service needs; and

 

WHEREAS, the Housing Authority wishes to recognize Ms. Mattie Bridgewater for her leadership and advocacy over the course of her career on behalf of City of Milwaukee residents and public housing residents; now therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, by the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee that Ms. Mattie Bridgewater be and is hereby thanked and commended for her 31 years of dedicated service to the City of Milwaukee and to the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee; and, be it

 

FURTHER RESOLVED, that best wishes be and are extended to Ms. Mattie Bridgewater for a long and fulfilling retirement.
