Body
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee solicited proposals by publication of Official Notice No. 57772 on August 5 2016, for Construction Manager as Advisor on Westlawn Gardens Phase 2; and
WHEREAS, one proposal was received by the deadline of 2:00 p.m. (CDST) on September 09, 2016; and
WHEREAS, after careful review of the proposal received, staff of the Authority recommends that Hunzinger Construction Company is the best qualified to undertake such professional services;
WHEREAS, Huntzinger performed satisfactorily on a previous contract for similar services for Westlawn Gardens Phase 1; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee that they be and hereby authorize and approve accepting the proposal of and entering into a contract with Hunzinger Construction Company for Construction Manager as Advisor on Westlawn Gardens Phase 2 in an amount not to exceed $300,000.00; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper officers of the Authority be and hereby are authorized and directed to properly execute said contract for and on behalf of the Authority; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that if any extensions of the time of performance are needed, the Chairman and Secretary-Executive Director may approve such request without any further action of the Authority; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that all acts previously performed, relative to this matter, by the Commissioners and the Secretary Executive Director of the Authority, be and hereby are approved, ratified, and confirmed in all respects.
