Resolution Approving the submission to HUD of a request to extend the Designated Housing Plan for two years
Analysis
Body
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority’s original Designated Housing Plan was approved on September 30, 1994 and extended on February 24, 2000, February 24, 2002, February 3, 2004, February 24, 2006 and April 16, 2008; and
WHEREAS, HUD approved a new plan June 16, 2010, amended April 14, 2011 in effect until June 16, 2015 and extended on June 11, 2015 that designated 872 units for elderly only and 1081 units for elderly and disabled at various developments; and
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority proposes to request an extension of the June 16, 2010 Plan amended April 14, 2011 and extended June 11, 2015 with no changes to the number of units, location or type of designation; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that a request for a two year extension of the June 16, 2010 Plan, amended April 14, 2011 and extended June 11, 2015 is hereby authorized to be submitted to HUD.
