This resolution authorizes settlement of claims raised by the claimant, Rodney Lynk, in the Wisconsin Equal Rights Division (“ERD”) charge entitled Rodney Lynk v. City of Milwaukee, Charge No. CR201602073, cross-filed with the EEOC, Case No. 26G201601034C, for the total amount of $21,500.

Whereas, Claimant Rodney Lynk filed an Wisconsin Equal Rights Division (“ERD”) charge against the City of Milwaukee, Charge No. CR201602073 (cross-filed with the EEOC, Case No. 26G201601034C); and
Whereas, Rodney Lynk and the City of Milwaukee have entered into an agreement to settle the claims raised by him in the above-referenced matter for the total amount of $21,500; and
Whereas, The City Attorney recommends that the City of Milwaukee settle this Matter; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the proper City officers be and hereby are authorized and directed to issue the following City checks in the amount of $21,500 payable to the order of Rodney Lynk as soon as practicable, in full and final settlement of this ERD charge and the cross-filed EEOC charge, to be charged to the Department of City Development operating account, Account No. 636508-0001-1911-5710-R999-2017; and, be it
Further Resolved, That for and in consideration of the above-referenced payment, Mr. Lynk will provide to the City a release as approved by the City Attorney of any and all claims arising out of or in any way related to the subject incident.
