Resolution approving HACM's Non-Federal Procurement Policy

Body
WHEREAS, The Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee’s Non-Federal Procurement Policy complies with applicable State and Local laws, while maintaining a procurement standard for HACM to follow;
WHEREAS, Section 3 contracting and hiring are not required while procuring contracts and purchase orders with non-federal funds;
WHEREAS, HACM’s current Procurement Policy is geared towards procurements with federal funds and does not apply to procurements with non-federal funds;
WHEREAS, our Non-Federal Procurement Policy dated December 16, 2016, was created to provide HACM with guidelines to follow when procuring contracts and purchase orders with Non-Federal funds; and
RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee that they be and hereby authorize and approve this Non-Federal Procurement Policy; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED that all acts previously performed, relative to this matter, by the Commissioners and the Secretary-Executive Director of the Authority, be and hereby are approved, ratified, and confirmed in all respects.
