A substitute ordinance relating to traffic controls.

Analysis

This ordinance establishes or revises traffic controls on various streets throughout the city.   

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1.  Section 101-16-1 of the Code relating to Stop signs is amended by striking the following:

On West Grant Street at South 17^th Street

On West Grant Street at South 19^th Street

On South 19^th Street at West Scott Street

Part 2.  Section 101-16-1 of the Code relating to Stop signs is amended by adding the following:

On West Michigan Street at North 93^rd Street

On West Richmond Avenue at North 64^th Street

On West Grant Street at South 17^th Street in all directions

On West Grant Street at South 19^th Street in all directions

On West Scott Street at South 19^th Street in all directions

Part 3.  Section 101-22-1 of the Code relating to One-way Streets is amended by striking the following:

“South Polcyn Street from South 4^th Street to South 5^th Streets and West Scott Street (northwesterly direction)”

“South 4^th Street from South Chase Avenue to West Madison Street (northerly direction)”

“South 5^th Street from West Scott Street to West Virginia Street”

Part 4.  Section 101-22-1 of the Code relating to One-way Streets is amended by adding the following:

South 4^th Street from South Chase Avenue to West Greenfield Avenue

South 4^th Street from South Polcyn Street to West Madison Street
