Title

Resolution accepting a reservation and declaring certain properties open for public street purposes, to be used for the widening of North 91st  Street (east side) from West Edgewater Drive north to a point, in the 9th Aldermanic District.

Analysis

This resolution will accept a reservation for public street purposes, thereby opening it for public street purposes to widen North 91st Street (east side) from West Edgewater Drive north to a point.

Body

Whereas, A 30-foot wide reservation for public street purposes was created and placed on lands by Certified Survey Map No. 4386, recorded on October 5, 1983 as Document No. 5658941 and again by Certified Survey Map No. 5663, recorded on March 13, 1992 as Document No. 6582044 and Certified Survey Map No. 6407 recorded on September 5, 1997 as Document No. 7416509; and

 

Whereas, North 91st Street from West Mill Road to West Good Hope Road is proposed to be reconstructed in 2017; and

 

Whereas, The acceptance of the reservation would widen North 91st Street and allow for the required improvements; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved by the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the following described parcels of land, which have been reserved for public street purposes, hereby are declared open for such purposes:

 

Parcel A

 

The west 30.00 feet of Parcel 1 of Certified Survey Map No. 4386, in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 21, Township 8 North, Range 21 East.

 

Parcel B

 

The west 30.00 feet of Parcel 1 of Certified Survey Map No. 5663, in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 21, Township 8 North, Range 21 East.

 

 

Parcel C

 

The west 30.00 feet of Parcel 3 of Certified Survey Map No. 6407, in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 21, Township 8 North, Range 21 East.

 

Parcel D

 

The west 30.00 feet of Parcel 2 of Certified Survey Map No. 6407, in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 21, Township 8 North, Range 21 East.

 

Parcel E

 

The west 30.00 feet of Parcel 1 of Certified Survey Map No. 6407, in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 21, Township 8 North, Range 21 East; and, be it

 

Further Resolved, That the City Engineer is hereby directed to have a certified copy of this resolution recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds of Milwaukee County.
