Title
A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2016 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance changes the rates of pay in the following departments:
Department of Administration, City Attorney, City Clerk’s Office, Department of City Development, Department of Employee Relations, Fire Department, Fire and Police Commission, Health, Library, Mayor’s Office, Police, Port of Milwaukee, Department of Public Works

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 150504 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 25, 2016 - November 20, 2016):
Under Pay Ranges 1AX and 1BX, replace the minimum rate of pay with the following:
Hourly 23.40
Biweekly 1,871.92
Annual 48,669.92
Part 2. Part 1, Section 2 of ordinance File Number 150504 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 25, 2016 - November 20, 2016):
Under Pay Range 2DN, delete the title “Associate Planner”.
Under Pay Range 2EN, add the title “Associate Planner (1)”.
Under Pay Range 2EX, replace the minimum rate of pay with the following:
Hourly 23.40
Biweekly 1,871.92
Annual 48,669.92
Under Pay Range 2FN, delete the titles “Senior Planner” and Senior Planner - Architectural Design” and footnote “(3)” in its entirety.
Under Pay Range 2FX, replace the minimum rate of pay with the following:
Hourly 23.40
Biweekly 1,871.92
Annual 48,669.92
Under Pay Range 2HN, add the title “Senior Planner (15)” and add footnote “(15)” to read: “(15) Recruitment is at $2,307.70 ($60,000.20)”.
Under Pay Range 2HX, delete the title “Principal Planner”.
Under Pay Range 2JX, add the title “Principal Planner (3)” and add footnote “(3)...
