Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the
City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On the south side of West State Street from the west curb line of North 3rd Street to a point 156 feet west thereof, at any time”
“On East Texas Avenue from South Superior Street east to the dead end”
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On East Texas Avenue from a point 180 feet east of South Superior Street to a point 45 feet east thereof
On the south side of West Fond du Lac Avenue from West Constance Avenue to North 68th Street from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM Except Saturday and Sunday
On the south side of West Lloyd Street from North 47th Street to North 60th Street
On the north side of West Parnell Avenue from a point 390 feet west of South 27th Street to a point 25 feet west thereof
On the south side of West Parnell Avenue from a point 375 feet west of South 27th Street to a point 60 feet west thereof
On West Grange Avenue from South Howell Avenue to South 6th Street
On West Oklahoma Avenue from South Chase Avenue to South 6th Street
Part 3. Section 101-23-4-a of the Code relating to Fifteen Minute Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On the west side of South 54th Street from West Leroy Avenue to West Plainfield Avenue from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM on regular school days”
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-a of the Code relating to Twenty-Five Minute Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of North Broadway from East Wisconsin Avenue to a point 95 feet north from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday
On the west side of North Broadway from East Wisconsin Avenue to a point 140 feet north from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday
Part 5. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On North 26th Street from West Hope Avenue to West Roosevelt Drive”
Part 6. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the north side of West Highland Avenue from North 9th Street to North 10th Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday
On the south side of West State Street from Old World Third Street to a point 120 feet west from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday
Part 7. Section 101-23-10-a of the Code relating to No Parking During Winter Months is amended by adding the following:
On the north side of West Dixon Street from South 76th Street to South 79th Street
Part 8. Section 101-32-3-am of the Code relating to Twenty-Five Minute Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of North Broadway from East Wisconsin Avenue to a point 95 feet north from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday
On the west side of North Broadway from East Wisconsin Avenue to a point 140 feet north from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday
Part 9. Section 101-32-3-b of the Code relating to Thirty Minute Meter Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On the east side of North Broadway from East Mason Street to East Wisconsin Avenue from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Except Sunday”
Part 10. Section 101-32-3-d-3 of the Code relating to Two-Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the south side of West State Street from Old World Third Street to a point 120 feet west from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday
On the north side of West Highland Avenue from North 9th Street to North 10th Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday
Part 11. Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Alternate Side Night Parking is amended by adding the following:
On West Madison Street from South 31st Street to South 33rd Street
