Resolution approving Amendment 1 to Contract 15-015 with Professional Service Industries Inc. for hazardous materials and environmental hazards management consulting services at various sites

Body
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (Authority) by adoption of Resolution No. 12725, on November 11, 2015, authorized and approved the entering into of a contract between Professional Service Industries, Inc. (PSI) and the Authority for hazardous materials and environmental hazards management consulting services at various sites; and
WHEREAS, Professional Service Industries, Inc. has performed the services satisfactorily during the first year and it is in the best interests of the Authority to extend their contract at the same terms and conditions of the original contract; and
WHEREAS, Professional Service Industries, Inc. has agreed to renew the Contract at the same rates, terms and conditions as the original contract; and
WHEREAS, Professional Service Industries, Inc. has triggered Section 3 with a need to subcontract and proposed contracting 20% with a Section 3 and MBE business, as a result, Professional Service Industries, Inc. is above the targeted thresholds; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee that they be and hereby authorize and approve amending Contract No. 15-015 by extending the contract through December 31, 2017 with no increase in the total contract price; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that all other terms and conditions of the subject contract, not hereby amended, shall remain unmodified and in full force and effect; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper officers of the Authority be and hereby are authorized and directed to execute, for and on behalf of the Authority, Amendment No. 1 to Contract No. 15-015 to effectuate the intent and purpose of this Resolution.
