Body
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (Authority) by adoption of Resolution No.12647, on November 12, 2014, approved the entering into of a contract between Otis Elevator Company and the Authority for elevator maintenance services at various housing developments; and

WHEREAS, Otis Elevator Company has performed satisfactorily during the term of the Contract and staff of the Authority recommends exercising the option to renew for an additional one year period; and

WHEREAS, Otis Elevator Company has agreed to renew the Contract at the same rates, terms and conditions as the original contract; and

WHEREAS, Otis Elevator Company will not trigger Section 3 nor EBE as it has no need to subcontract and has agreed to discuss subcontracting and hiring needs that arise in the future with the Section 3 Coordinator; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee, that they be and hereby authorize and approve entering into an amendment with Otis Elevator Company to renew for a final one year period through December 31, 2017 for elevator maintenance services at various housing developments; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee, that Contract No. 14-035 be increased for the renewal period by a not-to-exceed amount of $163,740.00; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that all other terms and conditions of the subject contract, not hereby amended, shall remain unmodified and in full force and effect; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper officers of the Authority be and hereby are authorized and directed to execute, for and on behalf of the Authority, Amendment No. 2 to Contract No. 14-035 to effectuate the inten...
