Title
A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2017 offices and positions in the City Service.

This substitute ordinance changes positions in the following departments:
City Attorney, Fire Department, Health Department
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 160594 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

Under “Health Department, Office of Violence Prevention”, delete one position of “Injury and Violence Prevention Program Coordinator(X)(Y)(V)” add one position of “Injury and Violence Prevention Program Coordinator(X)(Y)(K)”, and add footnote “(K)” to read as follows:

“(K) To expire 09/30/19 unless the Justice for Families Grant is extended.”

Part 2. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 160594 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 25, 2016 - November 20, 2016):

Under City Attorney’s Office, Administrative Division,” delete one position of “Legal Office Assistant”, and under the “Docket Unit” add one position of “Docketing Specialist - Senior.”

Under “Fire Department, Support Services Bureau Decision Unit, Technical Services/Dispatch Division”, delete two positions of “Network Coordinator Associate” and add two positions of “IT Support Specialist - Senior”.

Part 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Part 4. The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 25, 2016 (November 20, 2016).

The provisions of all other parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.
