Title
Resolution relating to expenditure of funds to be reimbursed by greater than anticipated revenue (Department of Administration).
Body
Whereas, Section 304-91 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances establishes procedural guidelines related to the expenditure of funds to be reimbursed by greater than anticipated revenues; and
Whereas, CCFN 151082 expressed support for the Compete Milwaukee initiative; and
Whereas, CCFN 151349 authorized the use of $92,835.35 from the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee to support an in-school workforce development program as part of Compete Milwaukee; and
Whereas, CCFN 151818 approved a Memorandum of Understanding between Milwaukee Public Schools and Employ Milwaukee, Inc. which also contained a work plan for the Career Plus program; and
Whereas, The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee has provided the City with $92,835.35 for these services; and
Whereas, The City Comptroller has certified greater than anticipated revenue in the amount of $92,835.35 pursuant to s. 304-91; and
Pursuant to s. 304-91, I hereby certify that the money required for this is anticipated to be realized on or before December 31, 2016 and to be expended only for the purpose in this resolution.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Comptroller is authorized to increase appropriations in the amount of $92,835.35 in the Career Pathways Special Purpose Account (0001-5140-S224-006300) and to increase the 2016 Estimated Revenue account (0001-5140-009830) by $92,835.35; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Comptroller is authorized and directed to establish the necessary accounts and accounting procedures to carry out the intent of this resolution.
