Analysis
This resolution authorizes City officials to issue an occupancy permit to Deer District LLC , or their contractor, allowing them to occupy West Juneau Avenue west of North 4th Street and east of North 6th Street.

Body
Whereas, Deer District LLC is the Developer for the Milwaukee Bucks Arena Project, detailed in the Cooperation, Contribution and Development Agreement (Tax Incremental Finance Districts No. 22 and 84 - Milwaukee Bucks Arena Project), including development of a Parking Structure at Block 7 and the Bucks Arena on Block 1;

Whereas, The Milwaukee Bucks Arena Project requires private utilities to be installed in the public Right of Way, construction traffic, and staging of materials at West Juneau Avenue west of North 4th Street and east of North 6th Street; and

Whereas, Deer District LLC has requested to occupy the entire West Juneau Avenue west of North 4th Street and east of North 6th Street for up to approximately eighteen months during the periods of September 20, 2016 through up to March 31, 2018; and

Whereas, Deer District LLC will be responsible to contact all affected property owners and businesses informing them of the complete closures of the street and the affected dates; and

Whereas, The Commissioner of Public Works may approve temporary occupancy of up to one-third of the width of the right of way while temporary use beyond that point must be approved by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to issue a permit to Deer District LLC , or their contractor, allowing occupancy of the entire W...
