This substitute resolution authorizes attendance at conventions, seminars and other travel and amends Exhibits A and B attached to Common Council File #151105.

Body
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that attendance of the following person(s) at the following convention(s) and/or seminar(s) is approved, to be paid from departmental budgeted funds, such travel and reimbursement to be in accordance with policy guidelines set forth in 350-181 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances:

1. One member of the Common Council; "Polish Independence Day/Veterans Day Luncheon"; November 6, 2016; Franklin, WI $35.00.

2. One member of the Common Council, "League of Wisconsin Municipalities, 118th Annual Conference", October 19-21, 2016, Stevens Point, WI $700.00.

Further Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the following substitution of conference attendance is approved, to be paid from departmental budgeted funds, such travel and reimbursement to be in accordance with policy guidelines set forth in s. 350-181 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances:

1. Water Works Superintendent Carrie M. Lewis substituting attendance at the Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies’ Annual Meeting, October 16-19, 2016, Scottsdale, AZ, $2500 for attendance at the Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies’ Water Quality Technology Conference, November 12-17, 2016, Indianapolis, IN, $2,500.

Further Resolved, That the dollar amount shown for each authorized convention, seminar and other travel listed above is simply an ESTIMATE of the convention, seminar and other travel attendance expenses anticipated to be paid or reimbursed by the city, and is primarily included to facilitate the making of the necessary dollar advances for such pur...
