This resolution accepts Water Easement Releases WER-245A and WER-245B, and authorizes the proper City officials, including the Commissioner of Public Works, to execute the documents.
Body
Whereas, On May 12, 1970, the City of Milwaukee was granted Water Easement WE-245A, for access and maintenance of 12-inch and 16-inch water mains, located in vacated West McKinley Avenue from 75-feet east of North 11th Street to North 11th Street, and in vacated North 11th Street from West Juneau Avenue to West McKinley Avenue, in the Southwest one-quarter (SW ¼) of Section Twenty (20), Township Seven (7) North, Range Twenty-two (22) East, in the 4th Aldermanic District, by Milwaukee County; and
Whereas, On May 12, 1970, the City of Milwaukee was granted Water Easement WE-245B, for access and maintenance of 12-inch and 16-inch water mains, located in vacated West McKinley Avenue from North 10th Street to 75-feet east of North 11th Street, and in vacated North 11th Street from 15-feet south of West McKinley Avenue to the north line of West McKinley Avenue, in the Southwest one-quarter (SW ¼) of Section Twenty (20), Township Seven (7) North, Range Twenty-two (22) East, in the 4th Aldermanic District, by Pabst Brewing Company; and
Whereas, Brewery Project, LLC (Owner) desires to develop the lands and erect a building within current water easement area; and
Whereas, The water mains constructed within the easement areas of WE-245A and WE-245B will be altered or abandoned as part of the land development; and
Whereas, Easement WE-245A and WE-245B are no longer required for future water purposes and do not serve the interest of the City of Milwaukee and should be released; now, therefore, be it
