Body
Whereas, 5th Ward Partners LLC is requesting permission to construct and maintain a wood platform with barrier free access ramp in the public right-of-way on behalf of one of its tenants; and

Whereas, Said structure may only legally encroach into the public right-of-way by granting of a special privilege resolution adopted by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that 5th Ward Partners LLC, PO Box 4193, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53204-0676 is hereby granted the following special privilege:

To construct and maintain a wood platform with barrier free access ramp projecting 5 feet 4 inches into the north, 15-foot wide sidewalk area of East Walker Street. Said platform and ramp structure commences approximately 1 foot east of the east line of South 1st Street and extends east 89 feet 7 inches. The ramp portion of the structure is 48 feet 11 inches long and the platform portion of the structure is 40 feet 8 inches long. At the tallest point, the platform is 4 feet 2 inches tall.

Said structure shall be used, kept and maintained to the satisfaction of the Commissioners of Public Works and Department of Neighborhood Services. All necessary permits shall have been obtained prior to the granting of this special privilege.
