Title
A substitute ordinance relating to traffic controls.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned traffic requirements in various parts of the City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-11-1 of the Code relating to No Left Turns is amended by adding the following:
On East North Avenue at North Cambridge Avenue for eastbound trucks
Part 2. Section 101-15 of the Code relating to Yield signs is amended by striking the following:
“On North 50th Street at West Hadley Street”
“On North 61st Street at West Hope Avenue”
Part 3. Section 101-15 of the Code relating to Yield signs is amended by adding the following:
On West Douglas Avenue at North 73rd Street
Part 4. Section 101-16-1 of the Code relating to Stop signs is amended by striking the following:
“On South 12th Street at West Orchard Street”
Part 5. Section 101-16-1 of the Code relating to Stop signs is amended by adding the following:
On East Smith Street at South Burrell Street
On West Townsend Street at North 91st Street
On North 50th Street at West Hadley Street
On North 61st Street at West Hope Avenue
On North 91st Street at West Keefe Avenue
On West Orchard Street and South 12th Street in all directions
Part 6. Section 101-21.5-1 of the Code relating to Designation and Marking of Bicycle Lanes is amended by adding the following:
On East Chicago Street from North Milwaukee Street to North Water Street
On East Erie Street from North Young Street to North Water Street
On North Jefferson Street from East Clybourn Street to East Mason Street
On North 4th Street from West Mc Kinley Avenue to West Walnut Street
On West North Avenue from North 2nd Street to North 6th Street
On North 27th Street from to West Townsend Street to West Garfield Avenue
On North 51st Boulevard from West Capitol Drive to West Hampton Avenue
