A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls.

Analysis

This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the

City.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1.  Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by adding the following:

On the east side of South Shore Drive from East Nock Street to East Estes Street

Part 2.  Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On the east side of South Shore Drive from East Estes Street to East Nock Street at any time”

“On West Lawn Avenue from the east curb line of North 24^th Street to a point 60 feet east”

Part 3.  Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the north side of West Juneau Avenue from a point 85 feet east of North 50^th Place to a point 45 feet east thereof from 7:00 AM to 5:00 Pm Monday through Friday

On West Blue Mound Court from a point 140 feet west of West Blue Mound Road to a point 40 feet west thereof

On the north side of East Euclid Avenue from a point 130 feet west of South Mabbett Avenue to a point 40 feet west thereof from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM Monday through Friday

On the south side of East Fernwood Avenue from a point 60 feet east of South Kinnickinnic Avenue to a point 55 feet east thereof from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM Monday through Friday

On the west side of North Broadway from a point 180 feet south of East Michigan Street to a point 20 feet south thereof

On the north side of West Howard Avenue from a point 280 feet west of South 27^th Street to a point 25 feet west thereof

On the north side of West Howard Avenue from a point 785 feet west of South 27^th Street to a point 25 feet west thereof

On the east side of North 51^st Street from West Galena Street to West Washington Boulevard

Part 4.  Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On the south side of West Holt Avenue from South 17^th Street to South 18^th Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday”

“On the north side of West Holt Avenue from South 16^th and South 17^th Streets from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday”

“On the north side of West North Avenue from North 49^th Street to North 50^th Street”

Part 5.  Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the north side of West North Avenue from North 49^th Street to North 50^th Street from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM except Sunday

On the south side of West North Avenue from North 49^th Street to North 50^th Street from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM except Sunday

Part 6.  Section 101-23-4-e of the Code relating to Three-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the north side of West Beloit Street from South 93^rd Street to South 95^th Street from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday

Part 7.  Section 101-24-1-d of the Code relating to Tow-away Zones is amended by adding the following:

On the east side of South Shore Drive from East Nock Street to East Estes Street

Part 8.  Section 101-23-10-c of the Code relating to No Parking During Winter Months is amended by striking the following:

“On the east side of North 51^st Street from West Galena Street to West North Avenue”

Part 9.  Section 101-23-10-c of the Code relating to No Parking During Winter Months is amended by adding the following:

On the east side of North 51^st Street from West Washington Boulevard to West North Avenue

Part 10.  Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Alternate Side Night Parking is amended by adding the following:

On West Mineral Street from South 3^rd Street to South 4^th Street
