Analysis
This resolution accepts Water Easement WE-949 for the construction, operation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of water mains, and authorizes the proper City officials to execute the document.
Body
Whereas, The following water easement is offered to the City:
Water Easement with Assignment, WE-949, executed by Tuckaway Homes, LLC, and the City of Greenfield, a municipal corporation of the State of Wisconsin, for a permanent water main easement in C.S.M. No. 7048, Lot 7, Tuckaway Woods subdivision, South of the cul-de-sac curve line of South 37th Street and South of West Abbott Avenue, in the City of Greenfield; and
Whereas, the City of Greenfield wishes to assign its rights under the WE-949 document to the City of Milwaukee, and the City of Milwaukee is willing to accept same; and
Whereas, The Department of Public Works has reviewed the above document; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that said document, a copy of which has been made part of this file, is hereby approved, and the proper City officials, including the Commissioner of Public Works, are hereby authorized to execute same on City’s behalf and to cause same to be recorded in the Register of Deeds Office.
