Resolution commending Ms. Ann Wilson for more than 27 years of dedicated service to the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee

Body
WHEREAS, Ms. Ann Wilson has retired after 27 years of service to the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Ann Wilson has served the Housing Authority first as a dedicated public housing resident, then as the Chair of the Housing Authority Board of Commissioners for nine years, and finally in her role as the Manager of the Hillside Family Resource Center; and
WHEREAS, in her roles with the Housing Authority, Ann Wilson has helped numerous public housing residents with housing, employment, healthcare, education and other supportive service needs;
WHEREAS, Ann Wilson has also served the citizens of the City of Milwaukee in a variety of capacities, including service on the Board of Directors of the Milwaukee Area Technical College and on the Fire and Police Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee wishes to recognize Ann Wilson for her strong leadership and advocacy over the course of her career on behalf of public housing residents and other low-income families, both in Milwaukee and nationwide; now therefore be it
RESOLVED, by the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee that Ms. Ann Wilson be and is hereby thanked and commended for her 27 years of dedicated service to the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that best wishes be extended to Ms. Ann Wilson for a long and fulfilling retirement.
