Title
Resolution permitting a minor modification to a Detailed Planned Development known as Downer Avenue Redevelopment, Phase 1, on land located on the Southeast Corner of East Belleview Place and North Downer Avenue, in the 3rd Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This resolution will allow for replacement of the existing entry doors for the corner retail space with similar glass entry doors and a shift of the entry location two feet to the north, removal of one intermediate horizontal mullion on the storefront and installation of an ATM/Night Depository at one storefront window facing Downer Avenue.
Body
Whereas, Section 295-907-3(i) of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances permits variation to planned developments after approval of the Common Council; and

Whereas, The detailed plan for a planned development known as Downer Avenue Redevelopment, Phase 1, was approved by the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee on May 30, 2007, under File No. 070034; and

Whereas, The replacement of the existing entry doors for the corner retail space with similar glass entry doors and a shift of the entry location two feet to the north, removal of one intermediate horizontal mullion on the storefront and installation of an ATM/Night Depository at one storefront window facing Downer Avenue, is consistent with the spirit and intent of the approved plan and will not adversely affect surrounding development and a copy of which is attached to this Common Council File as Exhibit A which is on file in the office of the City Clerk and made a part as though fully set forth herein; now, therefore, be it
