Whereas, The claimant, Omar and Luz Chavez has filed a claim, C.I. File No. 1048-2014-2009, against the City of Milwaukee in the amount of $16,870.06, and

Whereas, The City has agreed to settle the claim in the amount of $12,639.59, and

Whereas, The City Attorney recommends and the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee deems it expeditious and just to pay this claim; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that proper city officers be and hereby are authorized and directed to issue a City check in the amount of $12,639.59, payable to the order of Omar and Luz Chavez, 1256 South 31st Street, Milwaukee, WI 53215, in full and final payment of this claim, upon receipt of a release of claim, approved as to form and execution by the City attorney; said amount to be charged to Water Department Account-636506 - Fund No. 0410 - Organization 6411 - Program 2631 - Sub Class R643.
