Title

Motion amending the Common Council Procedure and Rules relating to the committee assignment for the Department of Neighborhood Services.

Analysis

This motion amends the Common Council Procedure and Rules by assigning all matters relating to the Department of Neighborhood Services, except those pertaining to public facilities, to the Zoning, Neighborhoods, and Development Committee.

Body

It is moved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee as follows:

Part 1.  Article II, Section 1, Subsection 5.e. of the Common council Procedure and Rules is repealed.

Part 2.  Article II, Section 1, Subsections 5.f. to i. of the Common Council Procedure and Rules is renumbered Subsections e. to h.

Part 3.  Article II, Section 1, Subsection 7.f. of the Common Council Procedure and Rules is amended to read:

ARTICLE ii.  COMMITTEES

Section 1. Standing Committees

7.  Zoning, Neighborhoods, and Development

f.  Neighborhood services, department of, [[in those matters relating to the development center and planning staff]] >>except in those matters pertaining to public facilities<<.
