Analysis
This resolution approves the Assessor’s Plat for Miller Park prepared by the City of Milwaukee pursuant to Section 70.27 of the Wisconsin Statutes.
Body
Whereas, on June 2, 2015, by approval of Resolution File Number 150147, the Common Council determined that the Miller Park stadium complex consists of numerous parcels the boundaries of which cannot be made sufficiently certain and accurate necessitating the creation of an assessor's plat pursuant to Sec. 70.27, Wis. Stats.; and
Whereas, the Common Council ordered the creation of an assessor’s plat for the Miller Park stadium complex, and
Whereas, pursuant to Sec. 70.27, Wis. Stats., the Assessor’s Plat for Miller Park attached to this file was created by a surveyor, shared with the owners of record of land in the plat, filed with the City Clerk, approved by the Wisconsin Department of Administration and, following appropriate legal notice and a 30-day review period, no one has brought suit to have the plat corrected; now therefore be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Assessor’s Plat for Miller Park is approved and shall be recorded with the Milwaukee County Register of Deeds Office.
