Resolution authorizing the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a revised project agreement titled “State Municipal Agreement for a State-Let Urbanized Area STP-Urban Project” with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the improvement of West Lloyd Street from North 60th Street to West Lisbon Avenue, with 80% State and Federal aid, under the Surface Transportation Program.
Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a revised project agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for extending the State’s sunset date from June 30, 2017 to December 31, 2017 to complete all construction work associated with the West Lloyd Street from North 60th Street to West Lisbon Avenue project.

Whereas, A project agreement has been executed by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and the City of Milwaukee for the improvement of West Lloyd Street from North 60th Street to West Lisbon Avenue using State and Federal Aid under the Surface Transportation Program, in accordance with the Common Council Resolution File Number 100021, adopted May 25, 2010; and
Whereas, The project agreement between the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and the City of Milwaukee was revised for changes in terms, and
Whereas, A revised project agreement including updated sunset date has been received from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation; now therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby authorized to execute the Revised Project Agreement for the improvement of West Lloyd Street from North 60th Street to West Lisbon Avenue with updated sunset date; and, be it
Further Resolved, A copy of the revised project agreement is attached to this resolution file by reference as though set forth in full.
