Analysis

This resolution authorizes City officials to issue a street occupancy permit to Balistrieri Environmental & Development Inc, allowing them to occupy half the roadway of West Juneau Avenue between North 10^th Street and North 11^th Street, as well as the sidewalk and the curb lane along North 10^th Street between West Juneau Avenue and a point 130 feet to the south.

Body

Whereas, Balistrieri Environmental & Development Inc has requested permission to occupy the south half of West Juneau Avenue between North 10^th Street and North 11^th Street for work at 1009 West Juneau Avenue; and

Whereas, Balistrieri Environmental & Development Inc  has indicated that they need this area to rehabilitate 1009 West Juneau Avenue for approximately 3 months; and

Whereas, The Commissioner of Public Works may approve temporary occupancy of up to one-third of the width of the roadway while temporary use beyond that point must be approved by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to issue a permit to Balistrieri Environmental & Development Inc, allowing occupancy of half of the roadway of West Juneau Avenue between North 10^th Street and North 11^th Street, as well as the sidewalk and the curb lane along North 10^th Street between West Juneau Avenue and point 130 feet to the south for work at 1009 West Juneau Avenue, through July 2016.
