Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee on 11/02/15 approved the anticipated HUD funding awards for the 2016 program year as follows: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) $14,500,000; HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) $4,200,000; Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) $1,200,000 and Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) $586,842; and

Whereas, The Community Development Grants Administration (CDGA) was notified by HUD that the actual 2016 funding awards are as follows: CDBG $14,561,809; HOME $4,438,206; ESG $1,333,236 and HOPWA $595,704; and

Whereas, The increase for CDBG is $61,809, an increase for HOME of $238,206, an increase for ESG of $133,236 and an increase for HOPWA of $8,862. Refer to Attachment A for specific allocation details; and

Whereas, Pathfinders Milwaukee, Inc. has notified CDGA of their intent to return their 2016 ESG entitlement funding for the activity of Housing Relocation and Stabilization Services-Rapid Rehousing in the amount of $25,416; now therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee hereby approves the changes to the 2016 HUD awards as stated in Attachment A; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the 2016 ESG entitlement funds from Pathfinders Milwaukee, Inc. in the amount of $25,416 are awarded to Hope House of Milwaukee, Inc. to perform the activity of Housing Relocation and Stabilization Services-Rapid Rehousing; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the Community Development Grants Administration is responsible for awarding Subrecipient contracts for these approved activities; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the Subrecipient organizations shall submit budget and activity reports...
