Title

A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls.

Analysis

This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the

City.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1.  Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by adding the following:

On the east side of South 5^th Street from West Lapham Boulevard to West Historic Mitchell Street from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Except Saturday and Sunday

Part 2.  Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On the east side of South Howell Avenue from East Norwich Street to a point 140 feet south”

“On the north side of West Pierce Street from No. 1300 to No. 1342, at any time”

“On the north side of West Pierce Street between the two driveways at No. 1528, at any time”

“On the east side of South 5^th Street from West Lapham Boulevard to West Burnham Street from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Except Saturday and Sunday”

Part 3.  Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the east side of South Howell Avenue from East Norwich Avenue to a point 80 feet south

On the north side of West Pierce Street from a point 600 feet west of South 12^th Street to a point 110 feet west thereof from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Except Saturday and Sunday

On the east side of South 5^th Street from West Historic Mitchell Street to West Burnham Street from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Except Saturday and Sunday

Part 4.  Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:

 “On the east side of South Howell Avenue from East Bolivar Avenue to East Crawford Avenue”

Part 5.  Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the east side of South Howell Avenue from East Howard Avenue to East Norwich Avenue from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Except Sunday

On the east side of South Howell Avenue from East Waterford Avenue to East Plainfield Avenue from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Except Sunday

On East Florida Street from South 1^st Street to east to the railroad bridge from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Except Sunday

Part 6.  Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Alternate Side Night Parking is amended by adding the following:

On West Galena Street from North 6^th Street to North 7^th Street

On North Jefferson Street from East Erie Street to East Corcoran Street

On South 34^th Street from West Arthur Avenue to West Pabst Avenue
