Resolution approving an award of contract to Professional Service Industries Inc. (Waukesha WI) for Hazardous Materials and Environmental Hazards Management Consulting Services at Various Sites in the amount not to exceed $500,000.00 (Official Notice 57359)

Body
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (Authority) solicited proposals by Official Notice No. 57359 on September 25, and 28, 2015 for professional services to provide hazardous materials and environmental hazards management consulting services at various sites; and
WHEREAS, two proposals were received by the deadline of 2:00 p.m. (CDST) on Friday, October 16, 2015; and
WHEREAS, after careful review of the proposals received, staff of the Authority recommends that Professional Service Industries, Inc. submitted the most responsive proposal and is the best qualified to undertake such professional services; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee that they be and hereby authorize and approve accepting the proposal of and entering into a contract with Professional Service Industries, Inc. for professional services to provide hazardous materials and environmental hazards management consulting services at various sites in an amount not to exceed $500,000.00; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, funds for these services will come from various funding sources; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper officers of the Authority be and hereby are authorized and directed to properly execute said contract for and on behalf of the Authority; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that if any extensions of the time of performance are needed, the Chairman and Secretary-Executive Director may approve such request without any further action of the Authority; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that all of above is contingent upon receiving the approval of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, if required; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that all acts previously performed, relative to this matter, by the Commissioners and the Secretary Executive Director of the Authority, be and hereby are approved, ratified, and confirmed in all respects.
