Title

Substitute motion relating to the locations of various Milwaukee County Transit System bus stops.

Analysis

This motion eliminates existing bus stops at various locations throughout the city.  It also authorizes the establishment of new bus stops at various locations throughout the city.

Body

It is moved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the following bus stops are eliminated:

1.  West North Avenue, westbound, at North 8^th Street (northeast corner of intersection).  Note:  Stop is being relocated to far side of intersection.

2.  North 27^th Street, northbound, at West Wells Street (southeast corner of intersection).

3.  North 27^th Street, southbound, at West Wells Street (northwest corner of intersection).

It is further moved, That the establishment of new bus stops at the following locations is authorized:

1.  West North Avenue, westbound, approximately 80 feet west of the west right-of-way line of North 8^th Street.  Note:  Stop is being relocated from northeast corner of intersection of 8^th Street and North Avenue. 

2.  West Appleton, eastbound, approximately 80 feet southeast of the south right-of-way line of West Villard Avenue
