Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct nonassessable improvements; and
Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:
4th Aldermanic District
W. Juneau Ave. - N. 27th St. to N. 28th St. (SM495150060) File Number 150997: Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $268,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $280,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2016 construction season.
4th and 15th Aldermanic Districts
N. 27th St. and W. Vliet St., N. 27th St. and W. Cherry St. (Intersections) (SM495150059) File Number 150997: Combined sewer lining. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $98,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $110,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2016 construction season.

W. Chambers St. - N. 26th St. to N. 27th St. (SM495150042) File Number 150032: Relaying storm sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $48,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $282,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2015 construction season.

W. Galena St. - N. 26th St. to N. 30th St. (SM495150061) File Number 150997: Combined sewer relay and lining. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $780,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $800,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2016 construction season.

Seal coating of various streets by contract (ST211150186) File Number 141515: (Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $20,000, Additional Funds). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $460,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2015 construction season.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to proceed with said work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Department of Public Works is authorized to use the funding as specified in the above description of work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts.
