Title

A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2016 offices and positions in the City Service.

This substitute ordinance changes positions in the following departments:

Comptroller, Health Department, Department of Public Works, Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee

 

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

 

Part 1.  The title of ordinance File Number 150505 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

 

Under “Title”, delete the current sentence and add the following:

 

“An ordinance determining the offices and positions in the various departments, bureaus, boards and commissions in the City Service, and the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee (RACM) under control of the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee.”.

 

Part 2.  Section 1 of ordinance File Number 150505 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

 

After the “Department of City Development”, add the following positions:

 

Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee

Part 3.  Section 1 of ordinance File Number 150505 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

 

Under “Health Department, Disease Control and Environmental Health Services Division, Bioterrorism-CDC Public Health Preparedness Grant (A)”, add designation “(CC)” to the position of “Public Health Emergency Response Planning Coordinator (X)(Y)(A)(P)(AA)”, add designation “(CC)” to the positions of “Emergency Preparedness Coordinator-Workforce Development (X)(A)(P)(AA)”, and add footnote “(CC)” to read as follows:

 

To expire 06/30/17 unless the Climate Change and Public Health Learning Collaborative for Urban Health Departments Grant from the Center for Climate Change & Health is extended.

 

Part 4.  Section 1 of ordinance File Number 150505 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 25, 2015 - November 22, 2015):

 

Under “Comptroller, Revenue and Cost Division”, delete one position of “Grant-In-Aid Fiscal Coordinator” and add one position of “Grants Fiscal Manager”.

 

Under the “Department of Public Works - Administrative Services Division, Administrative Services, Finance & Planning Section”, delete one position of “Finance and Planning Manager” and add one position of “Finance and Administration Manager”.

 

Part 5.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

 

Part 6.  The provisions of Part 4 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 25, 2015 (November 22, 2015).

 

The provisions of all other parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.

 

Part 7.  This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
