Ald. Davis moved approval, (Prevailed 4-0) 10th and 15th Aldermanic Districts W. Lloyd St. – W. Lisbon Ave. to N. 60th St. (ST320100701): Concrete pavement reconstruction, replace all curb and gutter, sidewalk and driveway approaches, tree removal where necessary, sodding and grading, street lighting and underground communication conduits and signals. Individuals also present: 10th District Legislative Assistant Edwin Huertas stated Ald. Murphy is in support. Tim Eklehaven 2106 N 53rd St, is in support of the Lloyd St improvement project as proposed, especially the bike lanes and one lane for parking. He believes traffic is going faster down Lloyd St to avoid North Ave, looking for traffic calming devices. Ald. moved Bohl approval, (Prevailed 5-0) 14th Aldermanic District S. 5th Pl. – W. Analysis
This resolution confirms the report of the Commissioner of Public Works, as modified by the Common Council Committee, on projects for which Public Hearings have been held. The resolution authorizes the levying of special assessments and directs the installation and construction of said public improvements. The City cost of these projects approved by this resolution is estimated to be $3,829,620. The total estimated cost of these projects is $4,646,620.

Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions, determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct and levy special assessments for the following improvements:

2nd Aldermanic District

W. Leon Terr. - W. Armitage Ave. to W. Hampton Ave./W. Constance Ave. (ST211160113): Install traffic calming devices. (Assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $9,500; Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $2,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $11,500. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2015-2016 construction season.

10th and 15th Aldermanic Districts
