Analysis
This resolution amends Common Council File #150272 relative to the acceptance and funding of the Public Health Emergency Preparedness Ebola 2 Grant from the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services. This grant provided for a Grantor share total of $111,180. The purpose of this grant is to support accelerated state and local public health preparedness planning and operational readiness for responding to Ebola.

BODY:
Whereas, Common Council Resolution #150272 authorized the Health Department to accept and fund the Public Health Emergency Preparedness Ebola 2 Grant funds from the State of Wisconsin - Department of Health Services to assure the support of accelerated state and local public health preparedness planning and operational readiness for responding to Ebola.
This grant provided for a Grantor share total of $111,180; and

Whereas, the total expenditures of this program has not change. An amended budget is requested and necessary for the grant; and

Whereas, The operation of this grant project from 04/01/15 to 09/30/16 would cost the same and is entirely provided by the grantor; now, therefore, be it

Further Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that application to the State of Wisconsin - Department of Health Services is authorized and the Health Department shall accept this grant without further approval unless the terms of the grant change as indicated in Milwaukee Ordinance 304-81; and, be it

Further Resolved, That all standard resolved clauses articulated in Common Council Resolution #150272 remain applicable.
