A substitute ordinance relating to traffic controls.

Analysis

This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned traffic requirements in various parts of the City.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 101-12-2 of the Code relating to U-Turns Prohibited is amended by adding the following:

On West Burleigh Street at North 80^th Street for west bound traffic 7:00 am to 9:00 am, and 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Part 2.  Section 101-15 of the Code relating to Yield signs is amended by striking the following:

“On North 19^th Place at West Stark Street”

Part 3.  Section 101-15 of the Code relating to Yield signs is amended by adding the following:

On East Norwich Avenue at South Herman Street

Part 4.  Section 101-16-1 of the Code relating to Stop signs is amended by adding the following:

On North 19^th Place at West Stark Street

On North 72^nd Street at West Chambers Street

On North 83^rd Street at West Concordia Avenue

On South Taylor Avenue at East Ohio Avenue

On West Townsend Street and North 80^th Street/North Walton Place in all directions

On West Pierce Street and South 37^th Street in all directions

On West Keefe Avenue and North 80^th Street in all directions

Part 5.  Section 101-16-2 of the Code relating to Through Highways is amended by striking the following:

“West Pierce Street from West Shea Avenue to South 39^th Street”

“West Keefe Avenue from the west line of North 76^th Street to the east line of North 84^th Street”

Part 6.  Section 101-16-2 of the Code relating to Through Highways is amended by adding the following:

West Pierce Street from West Shea Avenue to the east line of South 37^th Street

West Pierce Street from the west line of South 37^th Street to South 39^th Street

West Keefe Avenue from North 76^th Street to the east line of North 80^th Street

West Keefe Avenue from the west line of North 80^th Street to North 84^th Street

Part 7.  Section 101-21.5-1 of the Code relating to Designation and Marking of Bicycle Lanes is amended by adding the following:

On West Roosevelt Drive from West Fond du Lac Avenue to North 60^th Street
