Title

Substitute motion relating to the locations of various Milwaukee County Transit System bus stops.

Analysis

This motion eliminates existing bus stops at various locations throughout the city.  It also authorizes the establishment of new bus stops at various locations throughout the city.

Body

It is moved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the following bus stops are eliminated:

1.  West State Street, eastbound, at North 9^th Street (southwest corner of intersection).

2.  North James Lovell Street, northbound, at West State Street (southeast corner of intersection).

3.  North Holton Street, southbound, at East North Avenue (northwest corner of intersection).  Note:  Stop is being relocated to far (south) side of intersection.

4.  North 91^st Street, southbound, at West Rochelle Avenue (northwest corner of intersection).  Note:  Not recommended by Transit Stop Technical Advisory Committee.

; and

It is further moved, That the establishment of new bus stops at the following locations is authorized:

1.  North 6^th Street, southbound, at West Kilbourn Avenue (northwest corner of intersection).

2.  South 6^th Street, northbound, at West Grant Street (southeast corner of intersection).
