Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions, determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct and levy special assessments for the following improvements:

N. 55th St. - W. Vienna Ave. to W. Melvina St. (ST211131183) File Number 140704: Install traffic calming devices. (Assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $7,200; Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $1,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $8,200. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2015 construction season.

W. Clarke St. - N. 47th St. to N. 49th St. (ST211150192): Install traffic calming devices. (Assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $1,700; Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $7,000. The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $8,700. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2015 construction season.
N. 15th St. - W. Fond du Lac Ave. to W. Lloyd St. (ST211150190): Install traffic calming devices. (Assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $8,500; Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $1,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $9,500. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2015 construction season.

The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $7,600. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2015 construction season.
N. 40th St. - W. Center St. to W. Hadley St. (ST211150188): Install traffic calming devices. (Assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $6,500; Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $1,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $7,500. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2015 construction season.

The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $7,500. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2015 construction season.

Whereas, The report of the Commissioner of Public Works has been filed with the City Clerk; and
Whereas, Notices have been sent to all interested persons and public hearings held; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Commissioner of Public Works' Report, as amended at said Public Hearing, is approved and the properties therein identified are benefited; and, be it
Further Resolved, That said Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to proceed with said work in accordance with said report pursuant to Section 66.0703 and any other pertinent sections of the Wisconsin Statutes and in the manner directed by Section 115-42 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the proper departments take such action as is required of them to assess the abutting or adjacent properties and collect such assessment in the manner directed by Section 115-42 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the projects do not involve any parcels of agricultural land which are eligible for deferred special assessments under the provisions of Section 14.30 of the Milwaukee City Charter; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Department of Public Works is authorized to use the funding as specified in the above description of work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That projects: N. 55th St. (ST211131183), W. Clarke St. (ST211150192), N. 15th St. (ST211150190), N. 36th St. (ST211150187), N. 40th St. (ST211105188), and N. 45th St. (ST211150191) will be billed after January 1, 2017, but not before 12 months after the project contract has been completed.
