Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Commissioner of Public Works to accept additional stormwater flows from the City of Greenfield storm sewer system into the existing City of Milwaukee storm sewer system located within the West Morgan Avenue right of way at its intersections with South 32nd, South 33rd, and South 34th Streets and at the intersection of South 31st Street with West Lynndale Avenue extended.

Body
Whereas, The City of Greenfield and the City of Milwaukee have scheduled the reconstruction of roadways with the shared borders within each municipality in the area surrounded by West Loomis Road, South 35th Street, West Morgan Avenue, and West Howard Avenue (“Lynndale Neighborhood”); and

Whereas; As a result of the roadway reconstruction projects there will be an increase in impervious surface within the area; and

Whereas; The roadway reconstruction project will also require improvements to the storm sewer collection systems within both municipalities; and

Whereas; The stormwater flow from the Lynndale Neighborhood, including the additional storm water discharge, will continue to flow from the City of Greenfield into the City of Milwaukee; and

Whereas; The City of Greenfield adopted a resolution requesting the City of Milwaukee to formally accept the additional stormwater flows, a copy of said resolution being attached to Common Council File Number 150114 and incorporated in this resolution b...
