A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2015 offices and positions in the City Service.

This substitute ordinance changes positions in the following departments:

Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 140624 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under “Department of Administration, Budget and Management Division”, delete one position of “Community Analytics Researcher” and add one position of “Community Analytics Analyst”.
Under “Health Department”, delete one position of “Communicable Disease and Immunizations Supervisor (X)(Y)(A)(P)”, add one position of “Communicable Disease and Immunizations Supervisor (X)(Y)(A)(P)(R)”, amend footnote “(A)” to read as follows:
“(A) To expire 06/30/16 unless the CDC Public Health Preparedness Grant is extended.”,
Amend footnote “(O)” to read as follows:
“(O) To expire 06/30/16 unless the Congenital Disorders Grant is extended. Also partially funds one position of Public Health Nurse.”,
Amend footnote “(P)” to read as follows:
“(P) To expire 06-30-16 unless the Bioterrorism Focus CRI Grant is extended. “,
Add footnote “(R)” to read as follows:
“(R) To expire 06/30/15 unless the Bioterrorism Focus Planning Grant (Ebola) is extended.”,
Amend footnote “(S)” to read as follows:
“(S) To expire 06/30/16 unless the FDA Standards Grant is extended.”,
Amend footnote “(T)” to read as follows:
“(T) To expire 07/31/16 unless the SURVNET ACA Grant available from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, is extended.”,
And amend footnote “(JJ)” to read as follows:
“(JJ) To expire 6/30/16 unless the Wisconsin Well Woman Program Grant, available from the State of Wisconsin - Department of Health Services, is extended.”.
Part 2. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 140624 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 14, 2015 - June 21, 2015):
Under the “Department of Neighborhood Services, Construction Trades Division, Construction Section”, delete eleven positions of “Building Construction Inspector II (X)”; delete three positions of “Boiler Inspector II (X)”; add eleven positions of “Building Construction Inspector (X)”; and add three positions of “Boiler Inspector (X)”.
Under “Electrical Inspection Section”, delete eight positions of “Electrical Inspector II (X)”; delete one position of “Electrical Inspector II (X)(C)”; delete four positions of “Elevator Inspector II (X)”; add eight positions of “Electrical Inspector (X)”; add one position of “Electrical Inspector (X)(C); and add four positions of “Elevator Inspector (X)”.
Under “Plumbing Inspection Section”, delete ten positions of “Plumbing Inspector II”; delete four positions of “Sprinkler Construction Inspector II (X)”; add ten positions of “Plumbing Inspector”; and add four positions of “Sprinkler Construction Inspector”.
Under “Cross Connection Section”, delete six positions of “Plumbing Inspector II” and add six positions of “Plumbing Inspector”.
Under “Commercial Inspection Division, Condemnation Inspection Section”, delete three positions of “Building Construction Inspector II (X)” and add three positions of Building Construction Inspector (X)”.
Under “Development Center Division”, delete two positions of “Building Construction II (X)”, add two positions of “Building Construction Inspector (X)”, delete one position of Mechanical Plan Examiner II, delete five positions of Plan Examiner II, add one position of Mechanical Plan Examiner III, and add five positions of Plan Examiner III.
Under “Auxiliary Positions”, delete two positions of “Building Construction Inspector II (X)” and add two positions of “Building Construction Inspector (X)”.
Part 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 4. The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 14, 2015 (June 21, 2015).
The provisions of all other parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.
Part 5. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
