The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 140625 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as (Effective Pay Period 1, 2015 - December 21, 2014):
Under Pay Range 1IX, add the title "Management Engineer".
Part 2. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 140625 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as (Effective Pay Period 6, 2015 - March 1, 2015):
Under Pay Range 1EX, add the title "Procurement and Compliance Manager (3)" with the footnote to read: "(3) Appointment of Scott Stange is authorized at the rate of $2,523.02 biweekly."
Part 3. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 140625 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as (Effective Pay Period 8, 2015 - March 29, 2015):
Under Pay Range 1JX, add the title "Public Health Planning and Policy Director".
Under Pay Range 1MX, delete the title "Public Health Research and Policy Director".
Part 4. Part 1, Section 2 of ordinance File Number 140625 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under Pay Range 2FN, amend the Official Rate Biweekly minimum amounts to read as follows: "Hourly 23.22; Biweekly 1,857.47; Annual 48,294.22."
Under Pay Range 2JN, amend the Official Rate Biweekly minimum amounts to read as follows: "Hourly 29.97; Biweekly 2,397.63; Annual 62,328.38."
Part 5. Part 1, Section 2 of ordinance File Number 140625 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as (Effective Pay Period 1, 2015 - December 21, 2014):
Under Pay Range 2HX, add the title "Community Outreach Coordinator".
Part 6. Part 1, Section 2 of ordinance File Number 140625 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as (Effective Pay Period 6, 2015 - March 1, 2015):
Under Pay Range 2DN, add designation "(28)" to the title "Real Estate Coordinator II" with the footnote to read: "(28) Yves LaPierre is authorized at the rate of $2,189.51 biweekly".
Under Pay Range 2GX, add designation "(4)" to the title "Real Estate Specialist" with the footnote to read: "(4) Rhonda Szallai is authorized at the rate of $2,547.45 biweekly".
Part 7. Part 1, Section 2 of ordinance File Number 140625 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as (Effective Pay Period 10, 2015 - April 26, 2015):
Under Pay Range 2IN, add the title "Land Surveyor (3)".
Part 8. Part 1, Section 5 of ordinance File Number 140625 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under Pay Range 5JN, amend footnote "(2)" to read as follows:
"(2) Positions held by Lisa Ames (City Attorney) and Jean Semenuk (Fire and Police Commission) shall be paid the following biweekly rates: $1,586.35 to $2,220.57.".
Part 9. Part 1, Section 6 of ordinance File Number 140625 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under Pay Range 6LN, delete the title "Legal Office Assistnat-Senior (1)" and add the title "Legal Office Assistant-Senior (1)".
Part 10. Part 1, Section 6 of ordinance File Number 140625 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as (Effective Pay Period 6, 2015 - March 1, 2015):
Under Pay Range 6KN, add designation "(3)" to the title "Administrative Services Assistant" with the footnote to read: "(3) Marcia Borzynski is authorized at the rate of $1,813.88 biweekly."
Part 11. Part 2, Section 6 of ordinance File Number 140625 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under Part II, Section 6, Demotions, amend section "B." to read as follows:
"B. Voluntary Demotions (Career Change): The salary will be the current rate of pay if it falls within the range of the position demoted to or the maximum of the new pay range, whichever is less. In no event shall the employee be paid in excess of the rate he/she was receiving prior to the voluntary demotion. When the demotion is to a position previously held, the employee shall revert back to the rate of pay in effect prior to the promotion.".
Part 12. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 13. The provisions of Parts 1 and 5 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1, 2015 (December 21, 2014).
Part 14. The provisions of Parts 2, 6, and 10 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 6, 2015 (March 1, 2015).
Part 15. The provisions of Part 3 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 8, 2015 (March 29, 2015).
Part 16. The provisions of Part 7 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 10, 2015 (April 26, 2015).
The provisions of all other parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after its passage and publication.
Part 17. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
