Title
Resolution authorizing the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a Cost Sharing Agreement with the City of Wauwatosa for the planned improvement of North 92nd Street from West Capitol Drive to West Hampton Avenue.
Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a Cost Sharing Agreement with the City of Wauwatosa for the local share of engineering and construction costs associated with the rehabilitation of North 92nd Street from West Capitol Drive to West Hampton Avenue. The City of Milwaukee has entered into an agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for rehabilitation of the subject roadway with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation funding 80 percent of the project costs. The City of Wauwatosa requested, and we have agreed, to incorporate the segments of the roadway that lie within their municipal boundaries into our construction project. This resolution also authorizes the City Comptroller to transfer additional funds to previously established subaccount for the City of Wauwatosa’s preliminary engineering costs. The total cost of the project remains the same.
