Title
A substitute ordinance removing a Site Plan Review Overlay District located on the northeast corner of South 27th Street and West College Avenue, in the 13th Aldermanic District.

This file was initiated by the City of Milwaukee, and it will remove an overlay that was established by Section 295-91.0017 of the former Milwaukee Code of Ordinances as it is no longer necessary.
Body
Whereas, On May 26, 1992 and January 15, 1993, the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee passed File Nos. 912098 and 921132, respectively, which added Section 295-91.0017 to the former (pre-October 1, 2002) Zoning Code and approved a Site Plan Review Overlay District (n/k/a Site Plan Review Overlay Zone) and approved and amended design guidelines for South 27th Street and West College Avenue; and
Whereas, Section 295-91.0017 amended the zoning map to establish the South 27th Street and West College Avenue Site Plan Review Overlay District for the properties located at 6292 South 27th Street, Tax Key No. 690-0941-000, and 6260 South 27th Street, Tax Key No. 690-0942-100; and
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee has determined that the Site Plan Review Overlay District is no longer necessary; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Section 295-91.0017 of the former Milwaukee Code of Ordinances is eliminated and that the South 27th Street and West College Avenue Site Plan Review Overlay District is removed.
