Title
Resolution relative to the acceptance and funding of the 2014 Milwaukee Continuum of Care grant from Milwaukee County.
Analysis
This resolution allows the City of Milwaukee to accept the Milwaukee Continuum of Care grant in the amount of $50,000 from Milwaukee County.
Body
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee serves as the Lead Agency/Collaborative Applicant for the Milwaukee City and County Continuum of Care; and
 
Whereas, The Milwaukee County has approved the award of $50,000 to the City of Milwaukee for the Milwaukee Continuum of Care program; and
 
Whereas, The operation of this grant from January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2014 would cost $50,000 which will be provided by Milwaukee County; now therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, the Community Development Grants Administration shall accept this grant without further approval unless the terms of the grant change as indicated in Section 304-81, Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; and, be it
 
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to:
 
1.      Commit funds within the Project/Grant Parent of the 2014 Special Revenue Grant
And Aid Project Funds, the following amounts for the program/project titled
Milwaukee City and County Continuum of Care-Milwaukee County:

2.      Create the necessary Grant and Aid Project/Grant and Project/Grant levels; budget against these Project/Grant values the amount required under the grant agreement;
 
3.      Establish the necessary City Share Project values; and, be it
 
 
Further Revolved, That these funds are budgeted for the Community Development Grants Administration which is authorized to:
 
1.      Expend from the amount budgeted for specified purposes as indicated in the grant budget and incur costs consistent with the award date;
 
2.  Enter into subcontracts as detailed in the grant budget.
