Analysis
This resolution authorizes the proper City Officers to execute a Conveyance of Rights to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, entitled “Conveyance of Rights in Land”, WIDOT Document DT1660, for portions of Water Easement WE836 Parcel A located west of S 27th St (STH 241) and north of W Sycamore St, in the City of Franklin, and for portions of Water Easement WE664 located west of S 27th St (STH 241) and north of W College Ave, in the City of Greenfield.

Whereas, The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (“WIDOT”) Project I.D. No. 2265-16-70 has scheduled the reconstruction, improvement and widening of S 27th St (STH 241) in the City of Franklin and the City of Greenfield; and

Whereas, The WIDOT Project I.D. No.2265-16-20 has created the Plat of Right-of-Way required for the reconstruction, improvement and widening of S 27th St (STH 241) in the City of Franklin and the City of Greenfield; and

Whereas, The WIDOT Conveyance of Rights in Land document has provided the City of Milwaukee Water Utility with a Utility Project ID#2265-16-45 and R/W Parcel No.205; and

Whereas, The WIDOT has requested that the City of Milwaukee provide a Conveyance of Rights in Land and release, in defined areas within the expanded S 27th St (STH 241) right-of-way, the City’s easement rights arising under a 1998 easement (WE836 Parcel A) Register of Deeds Document No. 7525275, and a 1988 easement (WE664) Register of Deeds Document No. 9196480; and

Whereas, The areas where the WIDOT has requested that the City grant the conveyance and release of its easement rights of WE 836 Parcel A are within parts of parcels 132 and 133 of Plat 2265-16-20-...
